Welcome to my world!
Here I am with my good friend and sister Hua Anwa, the spiritual lead of Circles of Empowerment an organization of which I am a proud member. Circles hosts many ceremonies, including the sacred Long Dance every year. Here Hua and I are holding a piece of willow together. Willow is a plant readily available here on the Central Coast and elsewhere. It is the material with which we build our church - a Sweat Lodge, with no big fundraisers, no costs other than the beautiful gift of the willow plant itself. Willow is very special to me.
Indeed all plants and animals are very sacred, each with their own special lessons and mysteries to share. As an artist, wild ways educator and medicine maker, it is my honor to share this knowledge with those who sincerely seek to learn the wild ways before they vanish for good.
Please see my site as an opportunity to connect with this body of sacred wisdom and help me to bring it to the larger world which is thirsting for the old ways. AHO!
